Inspection Manager Start-up
Data loading presents itself as the first big problem that any plant manager has to face while introducing new softwares.
ANTEA suggests starting from UNIT P&I , when they are available in CAD format , to read the information they contain through the ALEF, list them and keep them available for Inspection Manager or other software . In this way it is possible to have at the browser immediately all the tags mentioned in P&I , divided by type and with the bi-directional finding tag code/drawing. The draft presented below shows the data acquisition process.

After this, it is possible to implement and complete all available data, to add new tags, to start NDT data loading and monitoring, to calculate residual life for parts, to support plant inspectors in all necessary analysis and to prepare the inspection plans to better manage maintenance activities and increase productivity.
It is very important to realize that the lists of tags ( equipment , lines , PSV, etc…) become available for Inspection Plans , Risk Assessment studies , ( RBI – RBM ), etc…immediately.
If P&I are not available in CAD format the software allows to
use files in raster format ( files from scanner ). In this manner,
however, it is not possible to extract information automatically.
Althought the bi-directional finding tag code-drawing can
be defined manually.
